One of the most charming and meaningful Southern Highlands fundraising events returned in full bloom, as Jenny Rose Innes’ Open Garden once again welcomed guests in support of the Bowral District Children’s Foundation.

Following last year’s success, this year’s sell-out event was nothing short of spectacular. Guests were welcomed into a truly magnificent garden, thoughtfully curated and generously opened to the community in support of youth mental health initiatives in the Southern Highlands.

More than just a beautiful setting, the day was a celebration of connection, creativity and community spirit. Visitors enjoyed not only the stunning surroundings but also delicious treats kindly donated by local favourites Gumnut Patisserie and Andrea’s Chocolate Emporium, adding an extra layer of indulgence to the experience.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to Rachel Ware, who generously volunteered her time to capture the essence of the day. From the intricate beauty of the garden to the joy, generosity and connection shared among guests.

Most importantly, every ticket sold and every contribution made goes directly toward supporting local youth mental health programs, helping ensure young people across our region have access to the care and support they need.

Events like this are a powerful reminder of what makes the Southern Highlands community so special, a shared willingness to come together, give back and create meaningful impact.

To Jenny Rose Innes, thank you for your vision, creativity and ongoing generosity. Your support continues to help BDCF grow its impact and support the well-being of children and young people across our region.

Together, we’re cultivating something truly special, both in our gardens and in our community.
